Shadowbox Newport is gearing up for The Shadowbox Bash, The Sketch Comedy and Rock ‘n’ Roll Club’s annual gala that puts the ‘fun’ back into fundraising!

Scheduled for Wednesday, May 14th, the Bash will present a new twist on the popular event, with Shadowbox’s unique brand of high-energy entertainment weaving its way throughout the evening’s auctions and raffle drawings. In addition to music from Shadowbox’s popular house band, BillWho?, the event will also feature some of the company’s most popular comedy sketches. “We are so excited to incorporate both elements of Shadowbox into this event,” said Stacie Boord, the company’s Director of Special Events. “Not only will this format take our regular patrons for a great ride down ‘memory lane,’ but it will give those joining us for the first time a true sampling of what we have to offer…and remind everyone why independent arts organizations like ours are so vital to our communities.”
