The Shadowbox Shindig

Monday, December 31st at Shadowbox in Columbus, OH

Get ready to rock in the New Year at the hottest party in town! Shadowbox celebrates The Shindig on December 31st starting at 9pm at their sketch comedy and rock ‘n’ roll club located in the Easton Town Center.

The annual event begins with a dinner banquet and cash bar and gives way to more than two and a half hours of live rock provided by house band BillWho?, recently voted Columbus Best Cover Band.

“So often people request an evening of just BillWho?,” explains media relations director and general manager Katy Psenicka. “This is the perfect event to showcase our amazing musicians and our incredible chefs while the patrons can showcase their hottest moves on the dance floor!”

This year’s set list includes songs from Lenny Kravitz, Aerosmith, Prince, No Doubt, Beastie Boys, Queen, and many, many more. “Fans will hear many of their favorite songs from our 2007 production season and seasons prior and they’ll get a sneak preview of some of the songs planned for our first show of 2008, CrazySexyCool,” said Psenicka.

The dinner banquet includes beef tenderloin, herbed stuffed chicken breast, rice pilaf, Caesar salad, cheese and crackers, vegetables and dip, and assorted desserts. “Most people don’t realize just how great our food is, until they experience it for themselves,” continues Psenicka. “In terms of quality, I believe we rival any restaurant in town. Couple that with our notorious customer service and that fact that your servers are the musicians and singers and you’ve got a dining experience unlike any other.”

Keeping with tradition, Shadowbox will count down to midnight and ring in 2008 with complimentary champagne toast and party favors.
